We are currently in the process of expanding the programme in Scotland. We are seeking a database developer with 2-3 years’ experience of developing SQL databases. Working on client site, you will be involved in a high profile project replacing a legacy system. You will be working on the development and design of a new SQL database. You should be familiar with the full development lifecycle and working with PM, BAs, DBA and QA.

You must have experience of the development and deployment of tables, triggers and stored procedures in T-SQL. Experience of data transformation and bulk copy programme would be advantageous. You do not need to have financial services experience as training will be provided.

  • Experience in large database design and administration skills including databasesizing and profiling
  • Practical experience of SQL Server Reporting Services and/or SQL Server Analysis Services
  • Good knowledge of data warehousing best practice and standards
  • Good understanding on Windows Azure SQL Database.
  • Awareness of current development methodologies and technologies
  • Devise and implement disaster recovery plan.
  • Good understanding on VMware’s VSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V technology.
